Rules & Regulations

Eligibility - To make foals eligible one must pay a fee (nonrefundable) to nominate their name as a breeder, and must be from Nebraska.  (We will let the breed associations determine address, in other words, on the horse's papers the breeder must have a Nebraska address.)  The name of the breeder must be listed exactly as it is on the horse's papers.  If the breeder is breeding under more than one name (such as a ranch name, or partnership) each entity must be nominated separately if the breeder wished for all of their foals to be eligible.

Payout - Payout will go to the CHAN Futurity.  Half of the incentive money will go to those foal's 3 year old year, and half will go to their 4 year old year.  There will be no extra charges or entry fees.  Contestants must make it to the finals in order to be eligible for the Incentive money.  The money will be prorated between the Open and Non-pro finalists.  All finalists will be paid.  If no one makes it to the finals in the age group, the money is then rolled over to the next year and split between the 3 and 4 year olds.

Rules - A breeder must nominate their name the year that they are breeding for the foals they wish to be eligible (to be born the following year.)  We will not except any back-paying!  The fee must be paid before December 31st of the breeding year.
In order to be eligible, a horse must be registered with a breed association.
The breeder may breed any number of mares.
The breeder may breed to any stud, regardless of where they are located.
