As long time horse breeders here in Nebraska, we would like to share with you an exciting new program developed to promote performance horses here in our great state! The Nebraska Breeders Incentive (NBI) has been designed to add marketability, value, and prize money to the horses bred by Nebraskans and shown at our state's cutting Futurity. The program is simple, anyone who lives in Nebraska is eligible. You simply pay a fee to nominate your name as a breeder, then all of the foals you are breeding for that year are eligible for extra prize money in the 3yr old and 4yr old classes, at the CHAN Futurity!! Once the foals are in the NBI, there are no extra entry fees or charges!! (Please visit the "Rules" page for more details.)

So, what do you as a breeder receive in return for your nomination fee?

Advertisement! We will list your name and contact info on our website.

Marketability! Potential buyers will take into consideration the extra money they can win on your foal. NCHA said they will count the incentive money towards the horse's life time earnings....uping the horse's value and promoting your name as a breeder!

Pride in our state! This program has the potential of adding entries to the futurity, thus supporting our Nebraska association. It will also encourage people to get these horses trained, and could provide more opportunities for our Nebraska trainers.

The option of breeding to any stud, and promoting your mares! Or course, extra earnings on your foal, will also increase the dam's value.
